Why should equipment be restored?
Insurance companies often spend money to replace equipment that has been exposed to smoke, water or chemical contaminants, which can, in some situations, be very costly. Our experience, however, has found that it is often far more cost effective and time efficient to decontaminate and restore the equipment rather than replace it. This is particularly true in a high tech, commercial, medical, and manufacturing environment in which equipment delivery lead-time often means significant downtime, which can add significant costs to the claim. Furthermore, when the new equipment arrives it often requires additional time for installation, set-up and staff training; and this can translate into additional downtime and cost.
How do I know whether the equipment can be restored cost effectively?
Newtron Group will conduct a thorough on-site inspection of the affected equipment and will provide a full report with recommendations and a cost estimate. All reports are completed in a convenient, easy to read and timely manner. We are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and we travel across the country to service our clients.
How do I minimize cost and how effective is restoration?
Upon your approval, Newtron Group will send a team of trained technicians on-site to mitigate the loss and to start the decontamination and restoration process on a timely basis. Our crew will work around the insured's business schedule and the building contractors schedule to ensure that the equipment is cleaned, restored and put back to its pre-loss condition as quickly as possible. If the service of an outside vendor is required, we will coordinate and monitor the process to ensure everything is done timely and cost effective manner. Our goal is to minimize interruption and to bring the insured's equipment back to pre-loss condition as soon as possible and in the most cost effective manner possible. All equipment cleaned and restored by Newtron Group is fully warranted against the reoccurrence of corrosion for a one-year period.
